Club Shack

The club has its own radio shack with callsigns G3VEF and G8KGI which is available for use on club nights.

It is equipped with the following:

• Yaesu FT-847 HF to UHF all modes transciever, purchased from Nevada
• 2m beam antenna on a rotator
• HF antenna
• Trio ATU
• PC running Windows 98 with software for logging and datamodes installed.
• Packet Radio TNC
• Oscilloscope
• AVO meter
• Frequency Counter
• Morse key

• 19ft Orkney Longliner (GRP), twin 25HP Mariners with two 75 amp batteries, charged by engines. Top speed 21 knots. Based Gosport & District Angling Club.

• Bottle Nelsons Blood (Rum). Note: for crew use only, skipper cannot imbibe as new rules (2005) regarding drink driving same as for cars
