ITEMS FOR SALE from STEVE G7HEP

Please note that none of the items listed is boxed (and will therefore be a bit dusty!), but all reasonable efforts have been made to ensure that each item is complete with its instructions and any ancillary leads with which it was acquired by me. In some cases I may provide a disk in lieu of printed instructions.
No warranty can be given on any item. However all items have been tested as far as possible prior to sale, and I believe that the description provided with each item accurately reflects its condition.
I would prefer - since as stated above, none of the items is boxed - not to post or otherwise entrust to a carrier, since this will entail the construction of specialised packaging and I simply do not have the time to do this. (I may make exception for small items – postage and packing at cost in addition to purchase price - please enquire).
I am more than happy for intending buyers to visit, assure themselves as to the condition of the items for sale, and to purchase on an “as seen” basis: I believe the asking prices reflect this.
In exceptional cases I am prepared to transport any item within a range of 50 miles from Fareham, Hampshire, for a charge of 20 pence per mile recorded from my home address to destination. In such cases equipment will be conveyed in such manner as to minimise as far as possible any risk of damage.

Yaesu FT-290R (Mk I) 2m all-mode transceiver, complete with microphone, whip aerial, case (but no strap) and Instruction manual. Not pristine by any means but in good working order.

Kemo System 2087 Metcom VLF receiver MkIII  <20 kHz to 100kHz. This (very sophisticated) receiver appears to be working, but I have not been able to find any useful information.

Ether Ltd. ABM 130 single channel variable voltage (stabilized) bench PSU 0-25v @ 1A. Meter reads voltage or current (switched). In good working order and a part of my shack equipment until very recently. Meter under-reads output voltage slightly.

Test Set Electrical Cable Type CT491 (Military). Time Domain Reflectometer. Used for locating shorts and breaks in coaxial and other transmission lines by pulse generation and observation of reflections on calibrated CRT display.
Fully working, and complete with shoulder strap and mains lead (but no top cover).
Can be made to work from internal rechargeable batteries (not supplied). With information / Instruction book

EES Ltd. Standard Frequency Receiver SFR 200B – made to provide accurate 1MHz and 10MHz outputs from a 200kHz oscillator phase-locked to the old Radio 4 LW frequency. Since R4 moved to 198kHz, the original high precision, high accuracy output is unavailable, but the unit contains excellent 200kHz and 10MHz crystals, and still provides 1MHz and 10MHz marker signals more than accurate enough for Amateur needs.
