Club Shack

The club has its own radio shack with callsigns G3VEF and G8KGI which is available for use on club nights.

It is equipped with the following:

Yaesu FT-847 HF to UHF all modes transciever, purchased from Nevada
2m beam antenna on a rotator
HF antenna
Trio ATU
PC running Windows 98 with software for logging and datamodes installed.
Packet Radio TNC
Oscilloscope
AVO meter
Frequency Counter
Morse key

19ft Orkney Longliner (GRP), twin 25HP Mariners with two 75 amp batteries, charged by engines. Top speed 21 knots. Based Gosport & District Angling Club.

Bottle Nelsons Blood (Rum). Note: for crew use only, skipper cannot imbibe as new rules (2005) regarding drink driving same as for cars
